Board Close Up 2025
The Board Close Up is the annual event for those interested in Board. We organize the Board Close Up for our customers and finance professionals who (want to) work with Board solutions.
On Tuesday, September 23, we will once again go in depth with peers during the Finext Board Close Up. Not with a standard update, but with an honest and inspiring program that shows how much there is still to be gained. During this afternoon we will look together at what is technically possible and how others are tackling it. From smart use cases and new AI functionalities to open conversations about practice.
Program
We kick off this day together with the participants of the Anaplan and Pigment Close Up. Because as different as the tools are, we share the same challenges. After the joint kick-off, the program splits up and we each follow our own path. That way you get the most out of your afternoon, in a group that really fits your platform.
Different sessions keep you informed about all the updates on the technology you work with. This keeps you efficient and leaves you time for the things that energize you. You'll have plenty of opportunity to network with other Board users and old friends.
Board at KPMG
After the plenary intro, you and your fellow Board users will listen to KPMG's story. How does Board help this large organization with their planning?
Board use cases: AI, and Board Foresight and Signals
During this edition of the Board Close Up, we dive into Board's AI capabilities. Chief among them are the Board AI Agents. These agents are designed, persona-based domain experts that improve human decision-making in three key planning areas: Strategic Planning & Modeling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Commercial & Supply Chain Planning.
We also dive into the Foresight and Signals module. With this module, you anticipate market shifts thanks to access to more than 5 million data sets and advanced analytics. Generative AI provides clear interpretations that allow you to fine-tune your business strategy. This enables you to gain a competitive advantage by acting on all relevant external factors - not just historical data - and instantly identify opportunities and risks with real-time economic analysis and industry-specific trends.
