This is how your plant will bloom

Nice that you received one of our green plants! On this page you will find text and explanation on how to germinate the seeds. Read on and find out the best way to take care of the green thank you you received! You don't need a green thumb for these thank you gifts; just a little water and love will make the flower seeds germinate!

This is how you grow your little plant:

Step 1. The thank you received

The plant received comes with a personalized wrapper. Furthermore, the thank you gift contains all the necessary ingredients to germinate the plants. This means a sowing tablet with all the necessary nutrients and the chosen flower seeds. The flower seeds can be Passion Flower, Sunflower, Clover4, Strawberry, Indian Cherry, Burning Love or Forget-me-Not.

Step 2. Potting soil

Adding about 30 milliliters of lukewarm water to the sowing tablet creates enough potting soil to plant the flower seeds in the thank you container. Place the coconut tablet in a dish and add the water. After about 15 minutes, the coconut is saturated and you will have enough potting soil to fill the green thank yous and plant the flower seeds.

Step 3. Planting flower seeds

After the thank yous are filled with the potting soil, it is time to plant the flower seeds. Gently press the seeds into the soil and cover them with some potting soil. It is very important to keep the potting soil well moist. Place the pots with the flower seeds on a dish or plate and put it on the windowsill, for example, so that the flower seeds get enough light. Also, water the seeds occasionally.

Step 4. Transplant

When the plantlets are about 4-5 inches tall, it is important for the growth of the plant to transplant the flower into a large flower pot or, depending on the flowering time, into the open ground. As mentioned earlier, seeds can be potted year-round, but repotting in the ground is best toward the start of the flowering season of the flower species.

NOTE: Not all flower seeds and bulbs will germinate quickly. The Passion Flower, for example, needs at least 40 days of germination time. In addition, some flower seeds or bulbs need time to bloom. The Clover Four, for example, is a biennial flower, this means that it can take up to 2 years to bloom. In general, sowing times are as follows:

Flower seeds and sowing times:

  • Passionflower: June to November (Germination time: +/- 40 days)
