Junior SAP Consultant

This role challenges you to

Together with our SAP Team, you will take on the challenge of supporting financial reporting at the corporate level. We do this by successfully implementing SAP Group Reporting. Finext is one of the pioneers when it comes to Group Reporting in the Netherlands and already has the necessary experience with this tool.

Because Group Reporting is a tool in an SAP landscape, as a consultant you will be challenged to liaise with various other teams within organizations, both on the business side and the IT side. Think of Consolidation and Reporting - and FP&A departments on the business side and GRC teams, Integration architects and S4/HANA consultants on the IT side. In that broad context, achieving success for our end user (Reporting departments and ultimately the CFO) is key. Therefore, you will deploy knowledge and experience of yourself and colleagues during the project and the following items fall into your scope of duties:

• Sharpening requirements for consolidation and reporting

• Thoughtful design designs of the tool itself and integration into the landscape

• Keeping the customer involved during the construction phase

• Delivery of a well-tested application.

• Counseling the end user in use and application of the tool.

This is what you got

Because we operate in the intersection of IT and Finance, we are looking for both people with a broad SAP background who want to develop in corporate financial reporting (Technical Profile) and people with experience in corporate financial reporting with tool affinity (Finance Profile).

Technical Profile

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience with relevant SAP products (S4/Hana / Group Reporting/ BPC / BW / ECC / Financial Consolidation)

• Experience implementing these products.

• Familiar with general SAP concepts (security/transports/modeling)

• Experience with integration of various tools is a plus

Finance profile

• At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in (Corporate) Financial Reporting

• Familiar with the regular financial statements (P&L / Balance Sheet / Movements / Cash Flow / Specifications for annual reporting)

• Familiar with consolidation processes (intercompany reconciliation, equity pickup, rate conversion / various forms of consolidation)

We offer you

• A fixed salary between €49,000 and €65,000 per year. This includes variable component, mobility allowance and 8% vacation pay

• In addition, you will of course receive good working equipment such as a laptop and telephone
